A former international cricketer who captained Pakistan in Test cricket and One Day Internationals (ODIs). He has beaten Imran Khan, who had 13 wins under his belt. Misbah also briefly led his side to the number one test ranking in 2016 and has never lost a home series.

Throughout his cricketing career and now after retirement Misbah has always had a pen chance for philanthropic and humanitarian causes, he has been involved previously with Islamic Relief UK to raise awareness of social causes.

In 2018, Misbah decided to join PCHF after meeting Farhan Ahmad. Misbah had originally set upon the idea of a hospital in his hometown Mianwali. But later he came around to supporting the PCHF instead because it was “a much bigger cause and expanded the horizons from a local district capital to the entire country”.
