PCHF provides the highest quality of care to impoverished children born with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) in Pakistan, irrespective of their financial means. Our goal is to act as a model institute for the training of healthcare professionals, education of the public at large, and promoting research into the causes and management of CHD. We believe every child should be provided the opportunity to receive world-class medical treatment.
In 2018, Misbah Ul Haq, Former Pakistan National Cricket Team coach, and selector joined the cause after a close friend experienced the hardships and hurdles that families with CHD kids go through in Pakistan. He made it his mission to help us build Pakistan’s first dedicated, state-of-the-art Children’s Heart Hospital and Research Institute (CHHRI). His vision is to see a Pakistan in which not a single CHD patient remains untreated.
The contributions of the donors in Ramadan have helped us in making a real difference in the lives of CHD patients. As charitable giving more observed in Ramadan by Muslims from all over the world. We hope that this Ramadan you continue supporting us with the same passion.
Glorious Allah states in the Holy Qu’ran:
.... and establish regular Zakat and give regular Zakat,
Almighty Allah has greatly emphasized the importance of paying Zakat, also more than eight times mentions in the Holy Qur’an:
“ So establish Salah and give Zakat, and hold fast to Allah”
As of 31st December 2020, we have been helped 2,221 deserving and needful children with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) get heart surgery at a total cost of 808 million rupees. However, hundreds of children are in the queue and facing difficulty in getting CHD treatment in Pakistan. This year we decided to help the needful CHD children with the aim to raise 30 million rupees in Ramadan. Be a part of our vibrant community and donate your zakat to save lives.
